Many countries around the world, have Immigration and Investment programs. The United States Immigration and Investment Program is called: EB-5 Program. It stands for Employment-Based 5th Preferences since it is under the employment categories of the residencies (Green Card).
Under the EB-5 Program, you must invest at least $500,000 in a project located in the Target Employment Area (TEA) or $1,000,000 in a project located outside of a TEA. Your investment must create at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
You can Invest in a company/project that you establish or take direct ownership of or invest in a company/project that is sponsored by a Regional Center.
There two options to start the process of obtaining a Green Card for you and your family through the EB-5 Program. You can either invest directly in your own project/ business or invest through a United States Immigration and Citizenship Services’ approved Regional Center.
